Human Resources
After eight years of operation, the company employs over 200 people at the present (depicting the recent project necessities). Among the staff there are employees of high educational and technical level (50 university/college level graduates, out of which 45 graduated engineers), engaged in sales, marketing, project management, quality, testing & commissioning activities.
Also the company employs skillful technicians including highly experienced foremen, fitters & assistants, qualified painters, qualified welders in accordance with international standards (EN288, API1104, ASME IX), skilful electricians with experience in international projects/specifications related to instrumentation and electrical installations.
Technical manpower is increased and adjusted in to the projects requirements in case of large scale EPC contracts.

The main facilities of Metron in Magoula premises comprise:

For the support of its activities in Northern Greece, METRON also has an office/workshop close to the industrial area of Thessaloniki.
Location
The Head office, Sales, Production an Support Services are all concentrated in one contemporary owned plant in Magoula, 25 km from the center of Athens, in close vicinity to the main industrial sites (Refineries, Oil and Gas Storage and distribution centers, Chemical Plants, Steel Industries, Shipyards, etc.). The strategic position of METRON's premises, gives instant access to Elefsina Port (5 Km), Athens International Airport El. Venizelos (40 Km) through Attiki Odos highway. |
